Tips for climbing the Ultimate Trial (Extreme Trials)

Images may differ from the current version.

1. What is the Ultimate Trial?

  • Climb up to stage 200. Attack and Defend modes have separate progress; switch freely and you always continue where you stopped.
  • You get 4 runs per day. Losing or clearing stage 200 sends that mode back to stage 1 (your best stage still counts).
  • Every 3 stages you spend Stars on buffs, and every 5 stages you claim a gift.
  • The daily ranking by best stage gives Gold, Diamonds and items.

2. Preparing your team

Leader ninja
  • Your core ninja should be high-level, upgraded to Kage and fully socketed.
  • Prefer ninjas with revive, life steal or HP-swap skills to hold on at high stages.
  • Attack and Defend modes need different lineups, so prepare a separate team for each.
  • Remember to claim the gifts at the stage milestones for extra resources.

3. Choosing buffs

There are buffs that raise your Atk/Def/skill and buffs that lower the opponent's Atk/Def/skill. Each buff type has a stacking cap, so spread your Stars across the types instead of putting everything into one. Before hard stages, check the opponent's Atk/Def to decide which buff you need most.

4. Tailed Beasts

Pick beasts that support your core ninja's attribute, or beasts that lower the opponent's Atk / skill rate when you meet stages with strong ninjas.
